What is Brainspotting?

When you experience trauma it can be very overwhelming, so your brain sometimes locks away that experience even though it can still cause emotional and psychological pain in your life.

Brainspotting is a technique that is effective in locating the hiding spot of that unprocessed trauma and then bringing release and healing to that area of your brain. This is NOT reliving your traumatic experiences! Instead, it is a gentle process to identify and then allow your brain the space to heal. It allows you to have more understanding and control of your emotions and experiences.

Brainspotting can be effective for:

  • physical and emotional trauma

  • anxiety & panic attacks

  • stress and stress-related disorders

  • artists who are experiencing creative blocks
